Tim Outhit was first elected to the Nova Scotia House of Assembly as MLA for Bedford Basin in 2024.
He is the ministerial assistant focussing on the Joint Regional Transportation Authority to the Minister of Public Works.
Mr. Outhit is a former Halifax regional councillor and Deputy Mayor. He has served as President and CEO of NovaKnowledge, Director of Business Development at AOL, World Wide Channels Manager for Electronics Workbench software and Vice President of QUICKLAW.
He is Vice Chair of the Law Amendments Committee, and Vice Chair of the Public Bills Committee. He is a member of the Public Accounts Committee.
