Rick Burns was first elected to the Nova Scotia House of Assembly as MLA for Hammonds Plains-Lucasville in 2024.
He is the Ministerial Assistant for the Department of Cyber Security and Digital Solutions.
Mr. Burns has 20 years of experience working in IT and project management, covering such sectors public safety, energy, retail pharmacy and web development.
He is Vice Chair of the Human Resources Committee. He is a member of the Law Amendments and Public Bills Committees.
